REFUGEES AND LOCALS
TOGETHER
WE PROTEST ON LABOUR
MAY DAY
Every year all over the world, hundreds of thousands of
people protest on Labour May Day against exploitation, for better salaries,
less hours and better conditions of work, insurance, labour rights, for labour
emancipation and social liberation.
Along with these demands, the demand and the struggles of
the oppressed of the whole world come to the forefront, for peace, people's
friendship, for the people to stop being the meat for the canons of the
magnates of wealth, who compete in order to control the areas, the energy
sources, the transport routes, the markets, in order to multiply their profits,
stained with blood.
This year, in our country, the workers, the youth, the
poor, us who suffer from the measures forced by the capital, the EU, the IMF,
and their submissive governments, we will protest in an independent, class May
Day. We will demand that we will not live as slaves, but we fight and claim the
wealth that we produce and the world that belongs to us.
This year, in Greece, the locals are even closer to the
refugees and the immigrants who are in the country, against the fascist and
racist forces. We want the locals and the refugees to fight together against
the xenophobic policies of the EU and the governments, for:
- The wars, the imperialist interventions and the
criminal attacks of the USA, the NATO,
the local governments and the oligarchies, the ISIS, to stop once and for all.
- The protection of the refugees, granting asylum to all
without dismissals and bureaucratic delays. The borders of Europe must open for
the refugees and for the free movement between the countries. The deportations
and confinements must stop. The concentration camps must close.
- Decent living and feeding conditions, equal rights to
work, education, health care. Against the isolation and ghettoisation of the
refugees. Accommodation of the refugees in houses inside the cities and our neighborhoods.
- All of us, together, shall live in a world of peace,
friendship, solidarity of the people, without exploitation and discriminations.
